I trimmed a panel of Distress Watercolor card to fit the back of the largest Vignette box and coloured with Antique Linen, Hickory Smoke and Black Soot Distress Oxide inks.
I stamped the image from Tim Holtz/Stampers Anonymous Inventor 4 with Black Soot Archival.
I trimmed papers from the Halloween Paper Stash pad to fit the inside and outside panels of the Vignette box and fixed in place with Distress Collage Medium Matte. I added Halloween Design Tape to the front edges and added the stamped panel. Oh boy that flocked paper is so strokeable.I stamped Inventor 4 twice on to Distress Watercolor card with Black Soot Archival, pulled the card through a puddle of Antique Linen and Vintage Photo Distress Oxide inks and fussy cut.
I added Idea-ology Mummy Cloth to the back of the skeletons, fixed in place with Tim Holtz/Sizzix Mini Foam Adhesive and added an Idea-ology Halloween Quote Chip, distressed around the edges with the Sanding Grip
I coloured Idea-ology Fringe with Peeled Paint and Vintage Photo Distress Spray Stain
fixed to the bottom of the box, along with Idea-ology Mummy Cloth
I added an Idea-ology Tombstone decorated with Halloween Remnant Rubs, painted Idea-ology Skulls with Black Soot Distress Paint and wiped back. To get a rusty effect on the Idea-ology Gates, I applied Black Soot Distress Paint and dried with a heat tool (remember metal stays hot for a while so be careful), tapped on Wild Honey Distress Paint with my fingers and sprinkled with Ranger Superfine Clear Embossing Powder, heat set and repeated the process twice more. I bent the gate back and forth until it broke, giving me two separate pieces to add to the box. I added Idea-ology Heirloom Roses highlighted with Picket Fence Distress Paint. All the items were fixed in place with a hot glue gun.
I die cut a panel from Idea-ology Classic Kraftstock using Tim Holtz/Sizzix Tangled Twigs Thinlits, inked the kraft side with Black Soot Distress Oxide ink, cut into sections and fixed around the edges of the Vignette Box. I dabbed Black Soot, Picket Fence and Wild Honey Distress Paint on to an Idea-ology Halloween Word Key, drying the paint between layers, sprinkled with Ranger Superfine Clear Embossing Powder and heat set.
I die cut these graveyard visitors from Idea-ology Classic Kraftstock and Distress Watercolor card usingTim Holtz/Sizzix Ghoulish Thinlits
and finished off by adding Tangled Twigs, an Idea-ology Zombie Hand, Mummy Cloth and an Idea-ology Quote Chip to the top of the box.
not a place I would be visiting in the dead of night, that's for sure.
Toodle-oo for now
