Easter Treats

The Easter weekend is approaching and although I don't make many
Easter cards this row of patterned eggs from Lawn Fawns Simply Celebrate Spring
called to me for some pastel colours...

I've gone for a clean and simple design so the colours would stand out against
the white space.... dreary weather hasn't helped to bring the colours out in the photo though.
I added a chocolate bunny from an older Lawn Fawn set called Eggstra Special Easter
and stamped them all out on the card base first.

I stamped all the images again on smooth card and coloured with Copics then cut them
all out with scissors so I could adhere them over the stamped images on the card base.
I started with the bunny then the row of eggs before adding a few eggs and tufts of grass
with foam pads for some dimension

This technique is great because you can ink blend a background before adding the pieces
and you also don't get bleed through on the card base from your alcohol markers.

Thanks for stopping by :)
